Formerly known as ''Annie Leila's,'' this property spans over 8.5 acres in St. George and is located on a street named after Annie Leila Parler's family. Although many see this material as bead-board, locals call them 'Badham Boards,' nicknamed in honor of the former lumber magnate. This home is layered with locally sourced oak, pine, and cypress.
Annie Leila's has a cozy garage on site, but it's large enough for a small tractor or other tools/equipment. Around this outbuilding are over 1,900 palletized bricks, many salvaged from St. Geo.'s Appleby House.
Beneath the live oak & magnolia trees, Miss Annie Leila planted camellias that bloom each winter & azaleas that flower in the spring. In addition, she nurtured the bamboo that has grown into a multi acre grove, spreading into the heart of this property & city block.
